Bohemian Dreams Party Hire – Terms & Conditions
We’re so excited to help you create a beautiful and memorable celebration! To make sure everything runs smoothly and safely, please take a moment to read through our Terms & Conditions. These are here to protect both you and us, and to ensure your hire experience is stress-free and enjoyable.
1. Booking and Deposit

A booking is confirmed once we receive your $50 non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance is due on setup, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.

Cancellations:

14 days or more before your booking – your deposit will be refunded.

Less than 14 days before – the deposit is non-refundable.

Need to change your date? No problem! We just ask for at least 48 hours’ notice, and the new date must be within 3 months of your original booking (subject to availability).
2. Refundable Bond

A $100 bond is required for all hires. This is either paid at booking or at setup.

Your bond will be refunded in full once we’ve collected and checked the equipment, as long as everything is in good condition.

If there’s damage, missing items, or extra cleaning needed, this will be deducted from your bond. If the cost is higher, we’ll send you an invoice for the difference.
3. Delivery and Setup

Delivery and setup are included (unless we let you know otherwise).

Please make sure your chosen space is flat, clean, and clear of hazards like sharp objects, animal waste, or obstacles.

If access is tricky (e.g., stairs, tight spaces), please let us know in advance so we can plan.
4. Collection and Pack-Up

We’ll arrange a collection time with you at the end of your hire.

Please remove all personal belongings from the tents/equipment before we arrive.

Everything should be left in the same condition it was delivered, apart from normal use.
5. Your Responsibilities
We trust you to take good care of our equipment during your hire. To keep everything safe and looking lovely, we ask that you:

Make sure guests use the equipment safely.

Keep food, drinks, makeup, and other staining items away from tents and soft furnishings.

Avoid smoking, pets, or open flames near the equipment.

Let us know straight away if something breaks, isn’t working properly, or you’re unsure about anything.
6. Liability
We do everything we can to provide safe and secure setups. Once your hire is in place, it’s your responsibility to look after it and ensure guests use it safely. Bohemian Dreams Party Hire cannot accept responsibility for injuries or damages caused by misuse of the equipment.
7. Weather & Force Majeure
Your safety is always our top priority. If severe weather (such as high winds or storms) makes it unsafe to go ahead, we may need to reschedule or cancel. In this case, we’ll work closely with you to find the best solution.
8. Service-Specific Safety & Care
🌿 Bell Tent Hire

Guy Ropes & Lighting: Fairy lights are secured to the ropes for both safety and style — please keep them switched on after dark. If a rope loosens, use the mallet provided to re-secure it. Please don’t move sandbags.

Fire Safety: No open flames inside the tent. Keep BBQs or campfires at a safe distance. A fire blanket is provided just in case.

Weather & Ventilation:

Keep windows/vents open where possible to reduce condensation.
-
In rain, please close doors/windows and move beds away from the walls.
-
In strong winds, heavy rain, or storms, we may need to postpone for safety.

Heating: During winter, a safe heater may be provided. Please place it only on the jute rug, and plug directly into the extension lead supplied (no power boards).

An information booklet is included with every hire for quick reference and emergency contacts.
🏕 Indoor Teepee Hire

Please leave space around each teepee to avoid knocking them over.
-
Once set up, please don’t move or alter the teepees, as this can make them unstable.
-
Fire Safety: No flames or candles. We provide safe, battery-operated lights.
-
Avoid leaning on the teepees or placing heavy objects on them.
-
No food or drinks inside that may stain fabrics.
-
An information booklet with our contact details is provided with every setup.
🎬 Outdoor Cinema Hire

Cinema setups are best suited for those who are reasonably comfortable with tech — projectors may require some troubleshooting, though we provide step-by-step instructions.

All equipment is tested before hire. If you’d like changes to the setup, please ask us rather than moving it yourself.

All power cords are outdoor rated, but please bring everything inside if it starts raining.

Fire Safety: No flames or candles near the equipment. Battery lanterns are provided.

Please keep food and drinks away from the projector/screen to avoid stains or damage.
